Discovering Elche, Murcia & La Manga

200,000 palm trees is soon said but when have you ever visited a city with such an amount of trees in its urban area? Elche has the largest palm grove in Europe, so if you’re a nature lover you can walk the palm grove route which coincides with a short distance path. Another beautiful world heritage site located in Elche is the el Misteri d´Elx, a famous depiction of angels in the month of August. If you enjoy being in the presence of religious monuments, it is a ritual where before the body of the Virgin is buried, a choir of angels takes it up to heaven and a moment before its entrance, the Holy Trinity crowns it. It is a beautiful moment.

The designation of Murcia as the Gastronomy Capital of 2020 places the city in the spotlight of foodies and tourists of good taste. So if you’re a food lover, you definitely have to take advantage of Murcia’s gastronomic offer as part of your wedding abroad experience. One of its most famous areas is La Plaza de las Flores. Located in the old town, it is the meeting point and the favorite place for locals to have an aperitif. Full of terraces, the Murcians taste the best and most varied typical tapas here.
